Washington, DC — The DC-based National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) said it has selected 10 startups in the mobile, video, analytics and social technology spaces to present at the 2013 NAB Show in Las Vegas, scheduled for April. They will be part of a new program at the annual show called SPROCKIT, which aims to connect technology startups with potential media and entertainment partners.

Harry Glazer, founder and CEO of the World Series of Start-Ups, LLC is the creator, director and co-producer of SPROCKIT. Presenting companies include: (Content creation): FlixMaster, NewsiT and SnappyTV; (Content management): Collective[i], Localytics and Standard Media Index; and (Content delivery): Everloop, Shelby.tv, Tivli and The Whistle. Startups were selected by the Angel Capital Association, Dell Founders Club, NAB Show, National Venture Capital Association, Startup America Partnership, The Paley Center and Springboard Enterprises.
